Hol up...pause...can I get uhhhh a new Silverado?

So I started at a local Chevrolet dealer a few weeks ago and these things have been hyped up to extreme levels ever since. Then, last night just before close, judgement day suddenly arrived when a batch of 2019 Silverado’s arrived at the dealer.

So far, I think the pervious generation (which is still being produced through 2019 and be badged as, “LD”) is better looking, but the new truck is loaded with many interesting features and options that makes the cabin actually a nice place to be.

Through the rest of the calender year, we will only be receiving the High Country trim for the new Silverado in crew cab configuration with the 420 HP, 6.2 liter V8 and 10-speed automatic transmission.

I haven’t ridden in/driven the new Silverado, but I have pretty high expectations. After all, the MSRP is around $65,000.

I will say, while it doesn’t look fantastic, and it honestly doesn’t look as good as the last gen, but any pic does n’t really do the truck proper justice. The proportions look fairly normal in the daylight, but still the beltline is way too high.

To say the least, we’ve got all remaining 2018s (about 80-100 in stock) at 18% off. The other day, a guy walked out the door in a Z71 with a ~ $55,000 price tag for ~ $38,000 out the door.

That picture really shows just how terribly goofy it really is. The windshield looks tiny. The side windows are tiny. The grille is absurd. I do like the wheels but I don't think there needs to be 4 feet of fender and hood above them.
